Kamil Kmita
PhD Researcher
Kamil Kmita is the PhD researcher at Systems Research Institute of Polish Academy of Science working full time at the BIPOLAR project. Kamil is a statistician and a data scientist, who graduated from Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, Warsaw University of Technology (MSc in Mathematics with specialization in Mathematical Statistics and Data Analysis).

Kamil is interested in addressing uncertainty in statistical modeling with emphasis on healthcare data. Finding alternatives to probabilistic approaches is both fascinating and worth exploring.

In his spare time, he likes to read books (socio-economics, psychology, interviews), to stroll, and to develop software projects in Python.
Jakub Małecki
Lead Software Engineer
Jakub is an experienced practitioner in various topics related to data and software. In BIPOLAR project, Jakub is the technical software leader making sure that the BIPOLAR package and data architecture is secure and sustainable. Jakub works closely with other researchers to ensure best practices when developing the BIPOLAR prototype and coordinating release activities.

In the last 15 years, Jakub worked on different positions from a specialist to a manager. He is always focused on how data analysis helps making better decisions in business. Jakub graduated with a Master Degree of Mathematics with specialization of Applied Mathematics from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
